I created this quilt with a collection of fabrics and later taught it as a “kit workshop.” I demonstrate how easy it is to change the color of trees with overlays of tulle or netting. I added dots of color with textile paint and dye pens to integrate the trees into the piece. This quilt includes extensive machine embroidery, overlays of tulle, and textile painting.
