I love the quaking aspens in Colorado. My goal in this piece was to use a batik background and I really like the way it turned out. I created the trees myself and used a fabric marker to add the dark spots. My stepson and his wife introduced my husband and I to the gorgeous mesas near Grand Junction, Colorado and that’s where I first saw the gorgeous aspen trees.
