This quilt is another one of my experiments! It’s actually a photograph I took at Butchart Gardens, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I had it enlarged and printed on an oil canvas fabric. Because of the density and thickness of the canvas, I decided to simply sandwich the canvas with Hobbs Thermore ™ Batting and a backing, and executed the threadwork during the quilting stage. When you see this quilt in person, it really does feel like you are looking into the picture.
